Cookie Policy

Last updated June 10, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Oxavane Inc. (“oxavane,” “we,” “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the website at oxavane.com (the “Site”), and gives a high-level overview of the device signals used in advertising across the oxavane exchange. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your browser or device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site’s operators. “Similar technologies” include things like pixels (small image tags), local storage, software development kits (SDKs) and device identifiers that perform comparable functions. In this policy, we use “cookies” to refer to cookies and these similar technologies together.

Cookies can be session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them. They can also be first-party (set by the site you are visiting) or third-party (set by another domain).

2. How oxavane.com uses cookies

Our marketing site keeps cookie use deliberately minimal. We use cookies in the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the Site to function and to be secure, including basic load-balancing, security and fraud-prevention, and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off through our systems.
  • Preferences — remember choices you make (such as a saved preference) to provide a more consistent experience. These are optional.
  • Analytics / measurement — help us understand how visitors use the Site (for example, which pages are viewed) so we can improve it. We keep analytics minimal and, where possible, configured to be privacy-protective. These are optional.

We do not use the marketing site to build advertising profiles about you, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers on oxavane.com for the purpose of targeting you with ads.

3. Cookies and similar technologies in advertising

Separately from this website, the oxavane exchange delivers advertising to connected and in-venue screens. In that context, advertising relies on technologies and signals rather than traditional browser cookies, because much of the inventory is on apps, connected TV and venue displays. At a high level, these can include:

  • Pixels and tags used to count impressions and measure delivery.
  • Device and advertising identifiers made available by a device or platform, where present.
  • SDK and request signals passed in an advertising request, such as device type, coarse location and context.

How these signals are collected and used in advertising — and the limits we place on them (including that we do not collect names or precise location and do not sell personal information for money) — is described in our Privacy Policy. The choices and opt-outs below also apply to advertising where relevant.

4. First-party vs. third-party

The cookies set directly by oxavane.com are first-party cookies. Some optional analytics or measurement functions may rely on a third-party provider acting on our behalf, in which case a third-party cookie or tag may be set. We engage such providers under contract and limit them to the purposes described in this policy.

5. Managing cookies and your choices

Browser controls

Most browsers let you view, manage, block and delete cookies through their settings. You can usually set your browser to refuse some or all cookies, or to alert you when a cookie is set. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Site may not work properly. Browser help pages explain how to manage cookies for your specific browser.

Opt-out preference signals (Global Privacy Control)

We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC). Where we detect a GPC signal from your browser on the Site, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser or device, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Industry opt-outs

For interest-based advertising, several industry programs let you exercise choices across participating companies:

  • Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) — YourAdChoices, at optout.aboutads.info.
  • Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) — at optout.networkadvertising.org.
  • European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA) — Your Online Choices, at youronlinechoices.eu.
  • Mobile and connected devices — you can often limit ad tracking or reset your advertising identifier in your device’s privacy settings.

These opt-outs are typically cookie- or device-based, so you may need to renew them if you clear cookies, change browsers, or use a different device.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, our practices or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Please check back periodically to stay informed about our use of cookies.
